Question How to make sure that you will remember the knowledge from the question banks?

I've heard people saying that in the end the scores will depend on the number of questions you have practiced with.
I still have 14 months before the exam. I'll be done with the 1st subject Physiology in a few days. I was thinking of doing Pretest with the fist read. Since I've already used pretest for my college studies, I would find it easy.
But the thing is that I'm worried that even though I will solve every single question bank that's available but since my exam will be 14 months later, I would have forgotten all of this stuff that I learned from the questions.
How do I ensure that I will retain the stuff I learn from questions? Should I make notes? Should I annotate my Kaplan? Or FA? Or should I start solving questions at a later time?

The questions are not meant to be memorized, they just supplement your books and train you to solidify what you already know.

You can only write few notes (not too much) into your books when you see a totally new information in a question.

Also remember that as you do more and more questions, the topics will start to be repeated and you will see that you don't need to memorize them anymore.

Start doing questions early on in your prep so that you know what are the high yield topics and to get trained for the exam early on.
