DNA Point mutations for genetic disorders!

hi there again guys.......thanks for putting up with a lot of these antiqs, as the exam gets nearer I'm forgetting days of the week and whether its day or night.....and among this I've realized while reviewing questions that a lot of the Genetics questions are now asking about detailed mutations for Genetics Disorders....aka point mutations, misense etc etc

now my question is that FA doesn't list specific genetic or chromosomal mutations (e.g point mutation on blah disorder, frameshift mutation on blah disorder)......where do i get all of that stuff so I stop worrying about genetics and go on with my peaceful life.....

as usual thanks for the input guys, you're the best!

I think you are referring to this question
Which mutation responsible for these clinical features!

That's a very low yield question, you should not worry about point mutation about rare syndromes.

Important common syndromes, such as Cystic fibrosis, for example, have all their mutations discussed in detail in FA, otherwise, don't waste your time (and your hippocampus) trying to memorize low yield information. Stick to your FA.
