Default Reverse

I did exactly reverse to this. Did all lecture videos and not lecture notes.

And i also did DIT, expressvideo, pathoma and Gojan audio.

Goljan books long time back (year and half) doesn't count.

I finished first time watching video in span of 6 months or more. And later i.e this july i started watching videos at 2x speed and finished each subject and 2.5days!

Wait for my result, I AM DUE sept 20th!

All is based on your experience and your skill in each subject.

In my opinion it's better to start reading F.A. than lectures becouse it is obviously the leading source that will drive your performance.
Don't waste your time with all the lectures in the very beginning becouse you just don't know where to focus.
If you want to integrate the F.A. put your energy into pathoma (+video) and/or goljan.
The other books that you should use AFTER F.A. are BRS Physio, Pharm lecture notes and if you are weak in Bioch i would recommend to see the bioch kaplan video that is absolutely great!
If you think to have more time, it is better to review and review again to improve your memory and do more quiz as you can!

Every one has different basic knowledge but in my opinion it would be better if u use kaplan videos. No one gona remember all videos but i think its good to see if ur basics are not strong cuz if ur basics are not strong blv me u will not get points in FA.

Just watch videos carefully and try to understand the concept and then read chapter or u can read chapter before watching videos so up to u..
Watch videos for concept only dun memorize exactly cuz they not gona ask Qs directly they may twist Qs as much as they can. So if u get the concept its fine then after that read FA and then try to memorize FA even single dot in it cuz this is the thing for memorizing. Everything in FA could be a Q.

Yes FA is more memorizing. Well i think just make a start with videos first and do FA then start doing any Qbank like UW u ll see it by ur self that all u need to memorize FA and concept from videos. Other level is to get concept from qbanks UW etc

Well its depend on u..whatever suits u. Both ways are fine. What I did was I did all kaplan stuff first and then read FA . For the first time of course u can't memorize all the things so just give it a good read and get fimiliar with the stuff then start doing Qbank and in the mean while do FA again and try to memorize it. Or u can start Qbank after u finish one subject. Whatever suits u..
When u do Qbanks go over to ur FA for every Qs and right imp stuff whatever u find imp or new..well U should do that with UW specially.

Man I told you. Don't waste your time! First of all do F.A.!
How can you say that you have poor basic? And how many weeks do you have to study?
Step 1 is like a marathon!
So listen to me ..
if you didn't do a NBME just to know your starting level..
then F.A. F.A. F.A. Pathoma/goljan, Brs physio, kaplan pharm and bioch video + USMLEWORLD QUIZ.
And review review review!

Well u got many suggestions.. Its all depend how much time u got for prep? Specially u should know about ur basic knowledge.. I m not saying do vid twice or thrice then it ll be a waste of time . Spending good amount of time here won't hurt u.. My exam is near then i ll guide u properly but what ever experience i have till now told u already.
In the end its all about Qbank and FA eventually but basic core should be there.
I dun know sbout others but from my own experience I found videos useful.

Btw I skipped anatomy kaplan videos and tried covering it from only UW and FA then I noticed I screwed up in anatomy UW Qs so last month I went through only anatomy videos i didn't read kaplan anatomy book. Then I reviewed Anatomy from FA so now my scores in anatomy improved alot. Well its only my experience.
