Default will adding a week and a half of study time make a difference?

took nbme 16, just squeaked by at 196, 350 score.

my exam is scheduled for aug 24, i want to reschedule bt the only date available is sept 4! is it worth it to move it back a week?

nope wont make any difference at all.
If youre looking at a better score say 240 consider postponing by a couple of months atleast.

Not by much! i think you should reconsider taking step 1 right now, go back do your FA and UW again boost up your score toa 235+ and then go for it!

No..that's not gonna make any big difference.
Cosnsider applying for extension if u wannna raise ur score above 230-240

a program director from the hospital I rotated at told me to go for the match this year since he said it was better the closer to graduation, and told me to apply as long as I pass step 1 (first attempt) and pass step 2 ck, so I'm kinda rushing it. Do you guys think I can pull my score up to at least a comfortable 200+? I wouldn't rush it like this if I didn't feel like they would really take me. I already took step 2 cs and got my LOR from that hospital also.
