Default question about left homonymous hemianopia

WHere would the lesion be for left homonymous hemianopia, i mean it will be in optic tract, but which lobe lesion? temporal, parietal, or occipital?

Optic tract is located in the midbrain. See image below.

Thanx. But there was a a question in nbme 15 about left homonymous hemianopia but options given were: occipital lobe, optic chiasm, optic nerve, parietal lobe, temporal lobe. They asked where would the mets be. i answered temporal and it was wrong
