How long do you have before your exam? My suggestion is you do the questions in Timed, Mixed, and Unused mode in 46 Q blocks to get the best out of the Qbank. If this is your first Uworld quiz, i wouldn't worry about that score. My first quiz was in the 40's as well and after some preperation and understanding how concepts are tested, im starting to get near low 80's.

If you feel like you understand the material, it may just be that you haven't seen how its tested in a question. Or you may be focusing your attention on the wrong details of a concept. In either case, keep doing questions so you learn from them and you'll eventually get a feel of how questions are asked and that itself will imrpove your score.

I also suggest having a good basic knowledge before you start doing these questions so you can add on to the knowledge. Its oftentimes hard to understand explanations or much less benificial if you haven't covered that topic before. What ever source you are using as your study material, give it all a quick run through and start doing questions while you do a more thorough run through on a mixed timed and unused question mode. This will give you a good udnerstanding of where your weaknesses are.

If your doing a section only subject wise then you may be getting artifically higher scores and you just dont want to overestimate your score on this exam!

All in all dont be discouraged because uworld is NOT easy. Its one of the toughest Q-banks out there. The questions are twisted and difficult. Keep your confidence up and keep studying and you'll see your scores improve! Hope that helps!!! And gluck on your studying.

What score are you aiming for? What have you reviewed so far? What is your main weakness? are you having difficulty learning concepts or applying them in question form? I think that most of what i've learned is from First Aid with a little bit of supplementation of outside knowledge for explanations of mechanisms and concepts. Did you start teh Q-bank before or after you finished your 1st run through all your materials? Have you done a Q-bank before this?

man let me tell you something
it all depends on you if u give up then u did that to urself and if u work hard u r doing that for ur future just dont feel so bad ,,,its low score but u can make it better study harder we all started like that
,,,,,,,

and i have a question here when some body says i got 50% in UW does that mean he solved half the question or what? coz im solving it now after 2 times reviewing the kaplan books and i am missing like 10 questions each block so what u think about that??
