Default which job experience would help.

Hello everyone,

I am an img from india recently cleared my step 1.

Right now i am preparing for my step 2ck and simultaneously i would like to gain some kind of experience.

I have been offered 2 jobs as

1) medical analyst in a company. Salary offered is 40k per month and 6hrs of work and weekends off.

2.) Resideny medical officer at a multispeciality hospital . Salary offered is 30k , 8hrs of work and 1 day a week holiday.

Plz help me choose a job which would be good for my future residency application and plus would also allow me to study for my step 2ck.

Plzz fellow doctors help me out here.

Placebo!
What would be your job description as a medical analyst in that company?
When did you graduate?
All these are crucial in making the decision on the above!
The truth is working 6 days a week 8hours each with studies would be tough to be frank, but u have step1 with good basis so that shouldn't be a problem right?

Well frankly I wouldn't mind which one. But would go in for the less stressful one to be able to study and make the score.
Some jobs u may work for 8hrs but ,less work compared to 6 hr jobs.
So my advice is go in for the less stressful option.
Remember that, programs would look at your score first before year of graduation and clinical experience.
Yea scores would filter u out when selecting people for interviews. It's that real when u apply and your scores are downloaded first before any other document, u understand me?
