I'll say above 75% in the overall performance predicts somewhere above 245. So you are in the safe zone.
But, "SHOULD WORK HARD TO ACHIEVE MY GOAL???".... Of course you should. That's not even questionable. Why get a 250 if you could get 260 or more?.

Good luck

You are doing great in UW, but to be on the safe side you need to take an NBME, don't try to use uw performance to predict because it is not reliable! Use UW to learn, then NBMEs to predict.

Questions are similar in format and easier in complexity. This is for 80% or more of questions. Nevertheless, you should expect a few questions of greater difficulty and a few more where you might not have a clue.

And by the way, although I agree with heights in that you should do an NBME as the best predictor, I strongly believe that there is an excellent correlation between good/great UW scores (only if done random, timed, non-subject wise, and at the end of your study plan) and the real score. I think it is a reliable way to predict a good score and at least set a safe zone cutoff point.

I suggest you focus on UW. It's important to review both incorrect and correct questions, and read the entire explanations. Also annotate in your first aid.

Only free questions are the 150 USMLE Free questions (which I recommend you see before the exam).

I strongly discourage you from doing offline NBME. No one knows the correct answers, and the Key Answers available through the web/forums are NOT entirely correct. This will get you confused, and you do not want that before the exam.

lol... you are just fine. Those 60's are normal, specially if they correspond to a lower average scores from other users.

Hey buddy,
You are working hard. You'll do fine, but if you really want to optimize your performance you must go for perfection.

Try to define the reason why you are going down in some blocks. Is it because of lack of knowledge or is it because stupid/"didn't-read-that" mistakes?. The latter are the few questions that will make the difference. Read well and carefully. Remember that all questions have a correct answers and in order to get to that answer, the question-maker put some some clues in it that you must identify to get to it. Highlighting is an excellent tool for this. On the other hand, if you have time left, you can review mark questions first, and then other questions. Reading again each stem could help you identify those clues that you may have missed.

If it is because of new concepts that you didn't know, that's fine, that's the reason why you are doing UW, to learn.
