USA USMLE Practice Test At A Prometric Center.

USMLE Step 1 Practice Test At A Prometric Center.

Exam within a month, please share if you did Practice Test at Prometric Center, is that worth it - does it help to be morally and mentally prepared, bc everybody knows Step one test day is not only about knowledge - but emotional and physical preparedness too -- but it is additional 75$ in the US and Canada. Surprisingly, in Japan by some reason it is 266$ - probably nobody takes it in Japan.

Thanks much,

By the way my test location:

Prometric Center # 0211
12020 Meridian E, Suite D
Puyallup, WA 98373 US

Please contact me if you're in the same boots....

IMHO, I didn't take it but I don't think it's worth it. I do not know of anyone who took it. Unless you have severe panic attacks and need to be familiar with the exact location of your test.

Download the fred program on USMLE website; the real exam is structured like that. And the nbmes. These give you a very good idea of the format and the screens you'd be looking at.

It's up to you in the end; I think the USMLE and residency journey is expensive enough without adding unnecessary expenses like these.

I understand - questions will not worse it and can be downloaded for free - but to make a general picture... to see the computer screen, interface, how big or narrow it is - somebody wrote - questions look larger for whole screen bc - they use large fonts - how far is the rest room, driving, parking - just not bother with it that morning, don;t ask unnecessary questions from service personal....
