for question 1 I don't know the correlation between meat cooked over left ashes and his symptoms but I would go wwith D because reflex disease causes heartburn cough etc .

for question 2 , I would go with b , the medication might prevent bloody vomitus so he is having hidden GIT bleeding ?

thanks for the questions wishes to know the answers

The correct answer for Both 1 & 2 is C.
1.The left over ashes refer to "lye" ingestion and they cause strictires.
2.the most common cause of death in alcoholics is "Liver cirrhosis". We find fibrosis in cirrhosis.

There are a million ways the boards can confuse us. The point is to know them by UNDERSTANDING.

Really confusing , cause no where in q 2 is mentioned that he is alcoholic so we have to conclude it from the ( repeated vomiting ) symptom ?
and for q1 so this is corrosive injury to esophagus , I excluded this because it ill take time until the injury is gonna healed by fibrosis and stricture is formed .
Thank u for sharing these to question

These are mentioned in FA. Check GIT section for strictures "lye" ingestion
For "cirrhosis" fibrosis.

I too could not answer them they are presented in such a way.
