Unhappy No exam block available for 5 months

I have taken Sept-Oct-Nov slot for my step1 and submitted my credentials for verification to ECFMG this week.
However, on checking Prometric I find that till November all dates in all the nearest Prometric centers are already filled.
And considering that verification will take 6 weeks, I would be forced to extend my slot, which will screw up my study plan

Any one know a solution??

Keep refreshing the page, you'll get a nearby date.

See this
Scheduling your CS Exam Date

You can do the same trick to get a step 1 date.

Hi,
I have my documents still pending verification. My exam date set for the end of August...so I called ECFMG two weeks ago and I was told I can sit for the exam even when my document was still being verified! I always thought I needed to have the "Medical education credentials received and verified" from OASIS first. Anyone know anything about this? THanks.

I got my scheduling permit today. However all November blocks in Mumbai, India are full. But i have noted a interesting pattern. Initially only mon, tue, wed slot are available but around 1.5-2 months before the thu and fri slot also opens up. I hope the same happens for nov so i can take my date....

hi, thanks for answering.
Yes, I remember I got my scheduling permit right after paying for the exam. I read in a post that scheduling permits can sometimes be given right away, and sometimes it takes weeks.
I do not have my documents verified from OASIS as of today, but I was told by an ecfmg representative that I can sit for the exam in spite of that. Just to be on the sure side, what do i need to bring to the exam center? My scheduling permit, passport with full name, snacks, anything else? thanks.
