Angry biostat Hardy weinberg question

In a clinical study of 100 subjects...for a gene related to bladder cancer
genotype NO.of controls
AA 45
BB 30
AB 25

if A n B are both one allele each..wsich is frequency of allele A ?

a-115/200
b-90/200
c-50/200
d-25/200
e-45/200

plz...ans biostat for me is a headche!!!!!

we have to calculate fq of allele A
in first row AA = 45*2=90
then in third row A= 25
total A= 115
and devided by total no. of all alleles like 90+60+50= 200
hope it wil help u out..

Please, do not post questions from NBME, because when people go to check their performance online, seeing this questions and answers would affect their outcome. It is very critical point!!!

Correct answer for question seen first time - means "You know the concept!"


Correct answer for question already seen somewhere....is not correct, just knowing the answer, it is not the goal of preparation.
