Talking Motivation Quotes to boost our Morale

I think we can all use a thread with a little motivation. For days when we get our results, the nights before the exam, for failure or unexpected results & specially for the times when we just cant focus/study/feel overwhelmed during our prep!!

I thought I'd write up a few quotes to read when you feel down. Sometimes just reading a few quotes turns all the negative thoughts into positive energy and motivates you. You feel the adrenaline and get excited to study! (Rare but it happens )

Anyways, here it goes -

- Always continue the climb. It is possible for you to do whatever you choose, if you first get to know who you are and are willing to work with a power that is greater than ourselves to do it.

- Always do your best. What you plant now, you will harvest later.

- Begin to be now what you will be hereafter.

- Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy.

- Crave for a thing, you will get it. Renounce the craving, the object will follow you by itself.

- Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing.

- Even if you fall on your face, you're still moving forward.

- Expect problems and eat them for breakfast.

- Follow your dreams, work hard, practice and persevere. Make sure you eat a variety of foods, get plenty of exercise and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

PLEASE add your own quotes or the quotes that drive you and motivate you! Share them on here

What I found motivating was the story of Anthony Robles, atleast what little of it they brought up at the ESPY awards. Was very interesting and inspiring to see how he refused to accept his disability as one, and fought against odds to get where he is...Though I have to admit, I don't follow wrestling and have not much idea about the entire thing, but I googled this story and was very inspiring...

Am an img from india, and the other day our sunday newspapers carried some inspiring stories. One was about this kid, who's from the slums of mumbai - his dad drives a 3 wheeler rickshaw (sort of cheaper taxi version) for a living. How he cracked the med entrances last year but couldnt afford to move away from home to start med school. So he sat down another year, worked his ass off from his one room home, in his slum till he managed to get a rank 1 on his state entrances. Now, he plans on attending one of the finest med schools in the country. There were some more inspiring stories but too long to put in here...

lol, sorry for the deviation from the topic about quotes, I usually run thin with those real soon!!

Best of luck! Remember it aint over till the fat lady sings!

When I was in middle school, we had little sports teams and each team had a motto that we recited before practice. This was the motto of my team:
"The heights of great men reached and kept
Were not attained by sudden flight
But they while their companions slept
Were toiling upwards through the night"

-Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Now you know where my username came from I changed "men" to "ones" and recited this to myself so many times when I felt tired of studying. Another one: "The race is not for the swift, but for those who can endure."

Here are 2 videos that are quite inspirational! -

These videos scream out motivation! They motivate me to just study and not wander off from my goals! There have been times when I take days worth of "breaks" but inspirational videos/ stories help you get back into the mode of things!
