Post Which approach to follow?

hey everyone

i am starting my prep for step1. now as the planning part comes 1st , i am confused between which approach would me more fruitful - SUBJECTWISE / SYSTEMWISE? . also i would really like to have a experinced insight from you guys bout whats the ideal time framing , as in how much time should each subject/system take? in case theres some1 who finds he/she can b my appropriate study partner , feel free to contact me.

look for the zum zum method in this forum on the search bar, i found it nice

1st read kaplan lectures plus videos and path from pathoma plus its videos in 2-3 months...
2nd read in 2 months FA plus kaplan...do it systemwise and do a block of RX of each system after you complete it...
3rd read FA+remaining RX questions random in one month...
4th read FA+ uworld in one month...
then give a NBME and go for the exam...

Subject wise is better.
ZumZum method is good.
So is the plan given above.

@buttercup786 thnxx for your input yeah m also following a slightly personalized version of the zumzum method only. its sure is good (Y) . How are you pacing yourself though the day, how many chapters/pages per day? Ive started reading anatomy a cploo days bak.

@khan89 thank you for the info . i am not the extremely quick grasper kind (not too slow though ) , so i am tryin to incorporate sumthing of your kind in the zumzum method to suit me best.

@pranavmerchant after i really got into it , i too found subject wise is better (y) .thanxx a bunch
