Default Done with 1st read. Need help! 😢

Hi guys. I need some help. I am an img and I'm done with my 1st reading even though it kind of took forever. I only did kaplan videos and kaplan book along with pathoma and 100 cases. I need suggestion as to how 5 proceed. What's the best strategy now? Should I do kaplan again along with FA and uworld? Or should I do FA and uworld only? Or any other combination. I have 4 months till exam.

Default Quality not Quantity

If You have Clear concepts and Your Reasoning is Strong then move on to FA.
But before that one should know each and every concept give in Kaplan.

FA is the bible. You need to remeber it - Cram it!
Its not about Quantity(Reads). Its about Quality!

There are student who done just FA and uworld and have aced the exam.

But I d Recommend you to know every concept in Kaplan and then Cram all of FA!

Correct Answer

Since you have 4 months left so my advise would be:
kaplan plus FA in 2 months with FA Q&A....then u can do FA and uworld for remaining 2 months...

Hi there,
You have good time left. I didn't have that privilege...
I do think if u dissected kaplan well enough and gotten all the concepts it had to offer then I'd advise you direct your energy now to FA and UWorld. It's like another major task in itself.
I struggled to finish a block a day despite studying for 12 hrs daily. I'm still on it. I'd say give yourself at least 2 months with uworld and digest every word of it while studying FA along side and annotating. U can do a block a day.
After that, u'd hav a bit more than a month left. Use that time to cram all of your fully annotated FA!

I am about to finish my 1st read
my plan ll be FA + UW
If u face something u don't not understand in FA refer to kaplan, I see no point
to read kaplan for 2nd read bcz the purpose of kaplan is to understand FA
u better off finish FA 1st then go thru UW
Good luck

Well I finished my 1st read , then when I started 1st found it lacks lots of forgettable facts, you have 4 months so consider doing any qbank other than uworld .. And do the difficult Q unless u have a plenty of time to medium ones
Along with 1st aid and a quick read of corresponding sections from Kaplan will strengthen your concepts (don't forget to add notes)
Once u finish do uworld with 1st aid and NBMEs
This is what I m doing , my exam in 6 months but I m still a student having other exams and clerkships
Good luck
