Unhappy to extend or not to extend :*(

Hi everyone . Need ur opinion . Exam next week. My eligibilty expires this month.
My nbme/UW/Fred have all been satisfsctory untill today i took form 15 and score dropped big time. I scored 238 . 9 point less than my previous nbme 13 . What to do? Should i extend my eligibilty? Feeling really bad and nervous . I cant recall many things veen from FA . Dont know why

i am trying to get higher than that. what worries me is my score has dropped consistently in my last 3 forms. 253 > 247 > 238 and now i am left with one week only. i dont even know what to study in this time .

These 3 forms you're talking about, are they in an ascending or descending order? (like 11, 12,13,15,16 or 16,14,12 or etc) coz if its the former, then it's because the forms do get increasingly hard. If it's the latter, then you have to find out why you're getting a lower score.

p.s. I think 238 is a nice score too. I'd be pretty happy with that.

Yes qinkergaard its in ascending order .oldest to newest forms. I found 15 to be weird with many twists and turns . M worried bcoz As everyone says 16 is even harder and the exam is even even more harder than any nbme . I am thinking if all that is true then i might land somewhere in 220'ss

To be honest, I don't know what is true. I heard of a girl at my library who recently took it and she said she got a rather easy paper, with most emphasis on pathology and physiology. She didn't get much of anatomy or molecular bio/cell bio, or even genetics.

So don't take everyone's experience on this forum too seriously. Some people might have overreacted as they tend to focus on what mistakes they made, but they are the very same folks who tend to score pretty high.

238 is already a nice score! And if it is your worst you will probably end up having more than this one. If you look at the "predictions thread", nbme 16 seems to underpredict, and not everybody has the same nbme giving the best prediction, probably because all exams are different and depending on our strength and weakness... And nobody feel ready for this test anyway!
With all that in mind, if you really feel you can improve something with a little more time, go for it. Be careful to not wait too much either to not begin to forget too...
Good luck

thats all what i am confused about. i know that if i take some more time i can work on some weak areas but i am in a weird zone right now if i start reading one thing i tend to forget the other. may be i am having sort of this zero order kinetics in my brain idk
