Default surface markings for chest

cn sme1 elaborate the surafce markings for chest?
i ve seen so many q cming with stab in 4th intercostal space along left sternal border...wts injured??
so sch q re to be worked on so cn sme1 simply elaborate wt cn b found in wt intercostal space on left side of chest i hope i make myself clear.

The right border is just beyond the right side of the sternum, and the right edge of the sternum is also pretty much the Rt AV septum.
The margins of the heart are 2nd costal cartilage to 3rd costal cartilage (upper border) and 5th ICS to 6th costal cartilage. The IV septum is somewhere along the middle of the remainder of the heart to the left of the sternum. The position of the Lt AV septum I'm searching for myself. Rt side anything below the 4th space, you'll hit the liver.
