Help Is it OK to take NBME now!

hi,

i have solved uw 56% complete...... i am scoring average 68% with individual test scores from 60 to 75%
i have 2 months for my exam and i thot of taking an nbme exam so that i know my weak areas and improve on it and get an idea of my stand.
i havent taken any uw self assessment.

can some one tell me if it is ok to take a nbme now? which one should i take. ?pls suggest and guide. i had heard nbme 7 is like the real one...so i thot i shud save it for the end...but which one now?

Any NBME from 6 up is fine to take, and yes it's a great idea to take one now. I would probably save 7 and 12 as the last 2 you take. You can also take UWSA 1 or 2, those are good tests also.

Take it! You have to know your weak subjects in order to work on them, otherwise, what is the reason for taking all those forms? I'd also suggest to leave the newer forms at the end.

thank you....i ll definitely take one tommorrow...i m scared though.....i hope i dont get discouraged....but i know i have to go through it...anyways thanks...i think i ll do form 6....
