Help Scored 217 on NBME Form 7

I did NBME form 7 and got 217... my performance is lower in Behavioral science and Lower+Borderline in Musculoskeletal, Skin & Connective tissue, Reproductive and Endocrine and Borderline in Histology and Cell Biology... apart from these I scored high performance in all other divisions with touching Borderline only in Renal and Physiology divisions...

I am thinking to take my Step 1 in another weeks time... and I am gonna concentrate on my low and borderline performance divisions...

How Good or Bad is my score and am I ready to take step or not???
Please do advice me...

Plz do help me by suggesting your view on my score...:sorry:

Thank You

Would you be happy if your score was 217 in the real test? How about 207, or 227? If you'd be happy with any of those scores, you're ready. NBME's are great predictors from what I hear, don't know for sure as I'm still waiting on my score. Some people score a bit lower, some score a bit higher so you have to think of standard deviations. In a week, you can also study and improve, so that can also improve your score, but again it depends on what your target score is. Are you an FMG or IMG? What specialty do you hope to match in? the answer to all those scores can help you decide your target score, since you want to try to be about average or above average for other students matching in the area you hope to match in to. Only you can know if you are ready, you have to make sure you feel confident going in to the exam. The power is still in you hands, if you feel ready and realistically think you can make your target in a week, go for it!
