Drug Class Ia and III antiarrhthmics and digitalis

Hi all:

I want to ask that I thought the mechanism of IA and III is they PROLONG QRS DEPOLARIZATION. But in one answer explanation from UW, it says that these two drugs prolong REPOLARIZATION.Can someone please tell me why is that?

One more, why digitalis is an example of " dissociated excitation and contraction?"

Thank you!
