Default Hey

I took my exam recently and I highly recommend u to postpone ur exam,do u just want a passing score? Does a passing score ensure a residency for u?

My honest reply would be " exam was hard"
I know how u may be feeling right now, postponing is always a pain because u have worked hard with having a certain date in ur mind and suddenly u need to move it further, but it does worth it.
To score 230 u need at least three months of hard work and I believe hard work can do a lot.
FA and UW help a lot ,kaplan videos and lots of questions will get u there.

Best of luck

What have you done so far? Probably list down the materials you've already use so that people can advise you on what else to do

You can probably review Uworld. Do a second round of pathoma and annotate FA. Determine your weak subjects in NBME or cumulative Uworld scores, and review your Kaplan notes.

Lastly, keep on reviewing FA.

All these will take time... but you still have plenty of it...

Reset your UWorld and do it over again. Do not under any circumstance write your exam on the 15th. If you're out of NBME practice exams, that is OK. You can still buy the UWSA ones, even though they over predict.

I think DIT can be of help for your situation. Than can be finished for two weeks. It puts depth in reading FA.

If you re about just to pass then take the risk and....
If you want a better score then you should postpone it. No-brain choice i guess.
Best luck to you,
ps: Im in the same situation, my exam on March-28 and I am aiming 240 up so in the worst case will definitely not show up, reapply step 1 (pay another $850)

My step 1 exam is on wednesday. ( 12/17/14)

Should I cancel my appointment?
