Arrow Methods to improve your stamina for the Step 1 exam

Stamina has always been a big problem for most Step takers. Minds can go blank, and concentration reduced at the 5-7th block.

So, I just would like to ask for all those who have taken the Step 1, and those who are going to take the Step 1 :

How did you manage to train your stamina up for this 8 hour exam? What methods do you use, what strategies did you have, and what tips have you got for future Step takers?

Take NBME back to back? 5 second breathers during the exam?

Default Don't worry

The fact that you are aware that people get tired last few blocks is enough to put you on the alert and your epinephrine will be shooting, don't worry about it.
