Default Estimating score with uworld

I am getting around 55-60% correct questions on the uworld with my second reading ,considering i have 2months and 2 more readings , does this translate to any estimation ..of probable scores ?

I wouldn't use UW percentage as a way to assess yourself. UW is primarily meant to be a study tool. You would have to use the NBMEs (and UWSAs but not as good as NBMEs) for a more concrete assessment.

Good luck!

Good, so you'll be able to find out how you're doing in another 10 days, good luck =)

and yeah, your UW percentages are not bad, so don't worry. Try scoring higher as you keep going along or when reviewing it for the 2nd time.

A good advantage of getting a subscription, is that you get to compare yourself with other UW users. Something you cannot do offline. So I highly recommend getting a subscription.

And I have to agree with qirkergard. Do not use Uworld as an assessment tool. Use NBME. Average scores of UW users as of the present is around 61%... and that may go up or down depending on the level of difficulty of the set. So that translates to around 190-210? But as you see, we cannot be certain because it shouldn't be used as an assessment tool anyway...

good luck!

Average UWorld scores should correlate with average or slightly above average real life scores.

So if 61% is the average in UWorld, that should be about 225 on Step 1.
