Default ask a NBME7 block2 question, What is the right answer?

A 3-year-old woman has her pituitary stalk inadvertently transacted during an operation to remove a tumor adjacent to the hypothalamic area. Secretion of which of the following pituitary hormones is most likely to be increased in this patient as a result of the transection?
A) ACTH
B) Growth Hormone
C) Luteinizing hormone
D) Prolactin
E) TSH

The transection will remove the prolactin inhibition by dopamine
