A 6-year-old boy is brought into the emergency room by his parents after the first soccer game of the season. The boy was unable to finish the first half of play after he began complaining that he couldn't breathe. On the sideline, his parents gave him a puff of his inhaler, which helped relieve his dyspnea. Physical exam shows a child seated comfortably on the exam table breathing normally. The type of hypersensitivity reaction responsible for this child's symptoms is also seen in which of the following?
A. Hemolysis after a blood transfusion
B. Development of rash after ingestion of penicillin
C. Development of a positive PPD
D. Development of rash in poison oak
E. Renal disease in SLE
