Arrow Did not show up to exam.

Guys my exam was scheduled for today, and I did now show up but I didn't cancel my exam. I want to reschedule it for next week. I thought the fee would be $104...I talked to someone earlier in the day from ecfmg and she told me the fee will be 104..but now I called ecfmg and another woman told me I would have to pay my entire step 1 exam fee again???? is this true?? I am still within my eligibility period (it will end in october). She said I would have to call back monday..I am really stressed out.

I think the second lady was right, you would have to pay the whole exam fee. You should have rescheduled before hand, then it would of cost you the $100+.

When I read about rescheduling/canceling, there was a phrase, something like:"if you don't show up on the day you are scheduled to take test and don't cancel it, you will pay the fee to reinstate your eligibility period". I did not understand what it meant, but surely didn't think it could be the whole fee if you are within your period....
Did she know that you period was not over yet?

Please, keep us posted, it will be very interesting to know to everyone who is in the same situation.
Good luck!

I think the $100 charge is to cancel the exam beforehand not afterwards from what I understand. Surely you must be stressed out about it. Try calling ECFMG again and explaining your situation. Good luck!
