Question Confusion about Pancoast tumor

Hi all:

In UW it says If pancoast tumor involves brachial plexus, it leads to shoulder in the distribution of C8,T1,T2 nerve roots.

However, i remember in kaplan anatomy it says that if it is shoulder pain, then should be upper trunk C5,C6.

So, kaplan here makes more sence, right?

What do you think?

Thank you.

but then it is hand problem not shoulder problem, if it is shoulder problem, then should involve upper trunk, instead of lower trunk, right?
