Drug Losing Motivation and Confidence..

Hey everyone, I have lost a lot of confidence in myself and find myself procrastinating far too much rather than improving my knowledge of information for USMLE STEP 1.

I graduated last March. I took a diagnostic exam and scored 85 as my expected step 1 score. People talk about 260 and im sitting here with a 85. I took Kaplan Live lectures, went through the material one time before that and I am still scoring so low.

I don't understand whats wrong with me or how to fix my issue.

What should I do? (I have access to USMLERX and KAPLAN QBANK)

Aren't you reading First Aid ? What about UWORLD and Kaplan Lecture Notes?
Go through the experiences people post on the forums and learn what material they used to get a decent score. Analyse yourself as to why you are procrastinating. Take breaks in between while studying and decrease the number of breaks as you get used to your study pattern.
All the best!

Thumbs Up

FA+Kaplan+GRR+UW

if you grasp majority from the above you will reach a 200+
For going higher you need to go beyond your limits.
Make a daily schedule and follow it.
The next day assess "how much have you achieved" out of the schedule
Don't be slow it will make you Procrastinate and waste your time, you will grasp the hard ones with revision and extra effort

Do things which boost you and make you recover. Discover there will be many but using the subject for entertainment will be fruitful.

i was talking only about a 200+
for an IMG 265 is also inconsistent.
Good luck buddy,
