Help Exam in 10 days!!

Hi all,
I just feel like sharing this with you, hoping some good Samaritan will finally reply to this post (my former threads unanswered).
I'm an IMG, graduated in 2009. I have my exam in 10 days. I read FA several times, along with Kaplan once and part of the videos. So far I have done 64% of UW, scoring 56% overall. I haven't taken any NBME yet but I am thinking of taking one in two days and use the rest of the days for weak areas....but now the thing is, I feel this is my only opportunity to sit for this test and whatever the outcome in NBME I will have to face the test.
This is what worries me the most because I will not be able to extend my eligibility period; ( I will not be able to repeat the time put in and the help given to me thus far, moneywise, etc) . I just feel overwhelmed ; I am reviewing all FA right now, even my little written notes. What would you suggest, do you think I have a chance of passing this exam?
What else to do these last 9 days?
please reply.

Its great you're reviewing FA! My exam is also in 10 days, and like you I'm only reviewing FA. The best advice I can give you is take an online nbme form ex. Form 7.

This is the best way to assess where you stand!

You can do it! Good luck!

I think you are doing the right thing in taking an NBME as soon as possible as this is the best predictor. One thing you say that is concerning- that you are worried because you can't extend your eligibility period. Is there really such a thing as "can't"? What if you fail the exam, would you try to repeat it, or would you move on with your life? If your answer is that you would repeat it, then you need to find a way to extend your eligibility if your NBME is not in the passing range, because if you take it when you are not ready you will fail. We can't tell you if you have a chance of passing, that's what the NBME is for.
That being said, hopefully your NBME score is good and you do well on your exam. Keep reviewing FA and working on your weak areas. Good luck!

Thanks for replying heights,
I will do this NBME. What I meant is that I would not be able to sit for it again until at least 16 months later; I'd have to work this time to support myself...But I'm going positive and trying to stay confident. I'll see what NBME score results and post back. :sorry:

Good Luck! have faith and be confident. Remember always give it your 100% and leave the rest to god.

You will be fine. Do NBME as soon as possible to se how you are. Review FA and keep on doing UW, try to finish it before the exam .
Good luck
