acetyldehyde it is, disulfirum inhibits acetyladehyde dehydrogenase.

The correct answer is B.
Disulfiram inhibits acetaldehyde dehydrogenase, causing an accumulation of acetaldehyde, the first product of ethanol metabolism. There is no reason to suspect that this patient drank methanol, whose metabolites include formaldehyde and formic acid.
