Default Postrenal Azotemia (acute renal failure)

Does anyone know the standard values for post-renal azotemia when it comes to usmle questions?

Pathoma states that there is an early and late stage of postrenal azotemia where:

early stage: tubular function is normal and so the tubular pressure leads to an increase in BUN:Cr >15

late stage: tubules get damaged which leads to a decrease reabsorption of BUN and so the BUN:Cr will be <15.

Some questions I have come across on uworld don't tell you whether the problem is in the early or late stages. First AID says BUN:Cr >15.

What lab values would I go by on the actual exam if this question is asked? Or will they for sure give a clue as to if it is acute or over time?
