Default silly question!

this may seem silly but i really need to understand this;

pls are the neurones in the grey or white matter of the brain myelinated, which one. if a diagram of the grey matter in the spinal cord is labelled are the neurones there myelinated and by which type of cell.

ps i will be posting more of these basic questions, i need a crash course in basics ASAP.

one more question; there is this question i encountered on my nbme exam yday, you are given number of patients with disease and the number of them who died over the years and asked to calculate the probability of a patient being alive in for example 2 years, i simply don't understand the concept behind such a question. can someone kindly explain, i hope this isn't against the rules
