Default Having a panic attack

I'm having my test in 3 days and I'm finishing up my 2nd reading of the material and I'm finished with UWorld (68% overall) but it feels like I can't remember anything. I'm trying to read quickly through some of my weaker points again but it doesn't seem to be helping. I'm at the end of my eligibility period extension. Do you think I should cancel and reschedule? ( I know that I'll lose the fees)

Have you done any NBME? How are your scores? I think if you are getting a good score on NBME there is no reason to postpone your exam. I guess nobody feels completely ready for it, because it is impossible to know 100% of what will be asked in your exam

I just did my step 1 this week and I was feeling exactly like you before the exam day. But have in mind that you studied a lot already and it is normal to not remember everything! The exam is more about understanding concepts then memorizing things

But if you feel completely not ready to do it and your NBMEs scores are lower than you want, then rescheduling could be an option

I'm seriously thinking about cancelling.
Another question then; I just don't have to show up on the day, right? I don't have to call and cancel? Then I'll reapply online 2 weeks after my original period ends...am I correct or misinformed?

Ya just don't show up for the exam. Does not count as an attempt.

Wait to reapply within 2-3 weeks and pay the appropriate fees.

hope stress issues have been resolved for you
