Help Why do you prefer DIT and not Kaplan?

Hi fellow test takers! I keep bumping into threads where people recommend DIT, although have always considered Kaplan better, I don't know why though . What would you recommend better for step 1? DIT or Kaplan? Thanks!

Kaplan is a complete study tool...DIT is a fast 15 day review! In my opinion only using DIT is enough if you learned SOMETHING in med school! You just have to do DIT and read FA over and over again, doing UW as many times as you can!

So, if I understand correctly it is more like an integration? How do they structure these 15 days? Do they go over subjects or use a system approach?

iS SIMPLE.
If you have good concepts in medicine you will be fine with FA and DIT.
DIT what it does is read FA and explain what´s in FA. Also has quiz before every section.
Kaplan is the way to go if you are weak in basic concepts. After this you can do DIT to learn FA.
ALWAYS do UWorld.

Perfectly described! You just can't go wrong with FA + DIT + UWorld!!!

OK, thanks guys for clearing it up for me. I guess, there is no real reason for me to read FA with anyone.
