Default Error message during the exam

Hello everyone- I recently took my Step 1 exam. During the exam, the 4th block I believe, right when I was about to end the block, I got an error. It was a script error something like "Do I want to continue running scripts on this page" That error just flashed once but I was still able to end the block. I told the person in the front and she said it did went through, but she made a note anyways. This has been worrying me, I don't know if this will affect my score or were my answers saved. I don't know if anyone here has experienced the same, but if you have any suggestions or think this is nothing to worry about, please let know. Thank you.

maybe you should find out if there is any appropriate authority to contact about this, the people at the test taking centre may not know any thing about how to address to reassure a candidate who sees such a message.
in the mean time prayer to calm you down will not hurt

In the US, Florida to be exact. I am going to call NBME tomorrow and conform it with them. I tried emailing but even their server is down, just my luck :/

This is not uncommon. I don't remember which forum, but there was a thread about this. From what I can remember, others were saying to not worry about it. I can totally understand your worry, I'd be freaked out even more than you.

You should definitely contact them tomorrow and please also let us know what they say.

Thanks.

Ohh really? That's a relief to hear. Thank you so much! I thought maybe I was worrying excessively but yes I am definitely going to call them and post their response here. I don't want my score to be affected, I actually think I did well. The lady at the Prometric center told me the same thing about not worrying.

I think your score will be fine. Do pray though.

Thank you. I did contact NBME and they told me to fax them a written account of the issue and they will launch an investigation to see if there are any discrepancies. I am not as worried anymore knowing that it has happened to many and did not effect their scores.
