Question hypopitutary or hyperpitutary in pitutary adenoma?

hey guys, just a simple and easy question.. what happens in pitutary adenoma? in my opinion there is hypofunction of all the hormones...!
but just confused, isn't there suppose to be hyperfunctioning hormones? since these tumors make stuff more, not less?

Pituitary adenomas can be functioning or non-functioning. They can be macro or micro adenomas. They can result in pressure symptoms when they are not functioning. Whether functioning or not, they eventually cause hypopituitarism due to local pressure damage. Hope that helps.
