Question Prognosis of Prostate CA!

A 55-year-old male presents with increased urinary frequency and incomplete bladder emptying. On physical examination a hard nodule is felt on his prostate. Laboratory values show an elevated prostate-specific antigen and he is diagnosed with prostate cancer. Which of the following has more prognostic value of his prostate cancer?
A. Stage of cancer
B. Size of tumor
C. Presence of metastasis
D. Involvement of lymph nodes
E. Grade of cancer

Shouldn't it be A. stage of cancer? The stage involves both metastasis and lymphnode involvement, they are both of prognostic value!

The correct answer is A.
The factor which has the most prognostic value regarding cancer is the stage of the cancer. Grading is the histopathologic evaluation of the lesion, based on the degree of cellular differentiation. Size of tumor, presence of metastasis and involvement of lymph nodes compose the staging of a cancer
