Question APO E4 in Alzheimer's

FA 2010 P.422 in the table says - apo E4 determines late onset of AD,
and RR Path ed 3 in p.589 says - apolipoprotein gene E allele e4 - leads to early onset of neurotoxicity.

Which one is right and if anyone seen questions on this point...

i am really not sure but in kaplan biochemistry it says that it causes late onset and that kind which is not related to familial inheritance
