Default Cancell the date!!

IMHO, you should cancel the date, because its not about money its about..your scores which you will not be able to change even after spending thousands of dollars!
And take a slot at least 2 month farther from the current one!!
Try focusing on basics and develop concepts, discuss with some intelligent guys and get some inspiration from them.
I am not underestimating your intelligence, but you should be more focused, which we all lack!

Make target of 230+ and work on that!!

I have a feeling that you will do great on Step 1.

U 've done what most ppl do for this. So reading this or that wouldn't get u anywhere , ur problem isn't in ur resources , it's in the way u use them So
What did u feel when u solved NBME ? U felt like new things or just memorization problems?

You should definitely postpone the exam. I feel you're using too many resources and spreading yourself too thin. Perhaps you should concentrate on knowing FA cold while using EITHER Goljan or Pathoma to supplement the pathology sections. After you've done that go through the UWQB explanations. Keep in mind 230 is the average now, so aim for at least 240. Take your time. You can definitely do it.

Default Hey!

In this exam memorization play very little role!

It's true you need to know material, but thats not enough for passing.
rereading is not the solution.
Active study, with goal based approach is the key!
try relating stuff! integrate them....biochem+physio+anat+ pathology+micro etc.

I am doing uworld now and after going through questions, I can definitely say it's not an hard exam, but you should think like a clinician. Not like a high school student, just vomiting out stuff!!

Default Sorry

I don't get it, you previously took nbme 13 on 12/31 and got 202, and again this week nbme 16 and got 172.

That's like 30 marks different!!!

Did you take BOTH nbme's ONLINE?
If you took both online, they maybe a something wrong with the recent nbme like maybe you did not concentrate well on questions or nade silly mistakes.

I suggest you to take one more nbme ONLINE in a relaxing environment and see the score. Cancelling is lot of money, I am an IMG and it is lot of money to cancel and study again and again. So take one more nbme online and see.

If you still on the low side of marks then cancel and make a new plan like studying kaplan big books, FA and uworld
