My physio knowledge is pretty good and solid. So post away questions/problems here. I'll reply whenever I get time.

Well, the only way to make your physio better is to do questions on it. Get the discipline right from BRS. Or if you have time, do Kaplan lectures. Kudrat explained Cardio physio pretty well, but some points are still confusing to understand. Hence, UW physio kinda completes the picture.

But, dont try to delve too deep. Know the overall, general picture. You don't need to know the intrinsic mechanisms. General concepts. For instance, what exactly is Frank-Starling? Put it simply, the heart will pump whatever comes inside it. Heart failure is nothing but a failure of this principle. The heart cannot pump whatever comes to it.

So, general, overall, big pictures, is your way of answering on the boards. The boards love to test simple concepts, in a complicated manner. The concept is broad, and well established, and is simple straight forward. They will likely test it using some new pathology or some lab research done. If your general physio is good, you won't have any problem in understanding it.

Hope that helps!
