Unhappy PAH Clearance Error in Pretest Physiology

If you read Pretest Physiology 12th edition , Question 394, it says

The clearance of p-aminohippuric acid (PAH), is less than the true renal plasma flow because of

b. The plasma entering the renal vein contains a small amount of PAH

"394. The answer is b.

(Ganong, pp 702–704.) The clearance of PAH equals the true renal plasma flow only if the kidney reabsorbs all of the filtered PAH, that is, no PAH appears in the renal vein. Because the kidney is only able to reabsorb approximately 85 to 90% of the filtered PAH, some PAH appears in the renal vein, and the PAH clearance is less than the true renal plasma flow."

Man.... how can mistakes appear in such a book as this. PAH is freely filtered, secreted but never reabsorbed. Should i even continue reading this book?

I've seen a dozen of such errors in pretest physiology and pretest Biochemistry.

Dude, these books are obsolete nowadays, nobody read them!
