Hello guys,

I want to Start FA, please guide me how i should follow it?
Let me tell you my plan, I think i should start it system wise, read the whole page memorize it and if anything i don't understand I should take help from Kaplan books to clear any concept.
So is it Okayyy??

for usmle exam you have to clear your concepts, no need to memorize it..
and do it with Kaplan notes i mean do it subject-wise...

FA is basically my guide. It allows me to identify topics that I need to focus.
While your studying from another source, return to FA every so often and read that section.

Some top scores have claimed to read FA at least 5 times before their exams!

I own FA 2011. Still in early stages of prep. Can't say that it is really good. Cos the info is just too simplified. Like they say, u have to annotate the book. It sure provides a very good outline, but it misses out on a lot of high yield explanations. I think first aid ORGAN SYSTEMS book is better.

i don't know your background, or age. In my case i will be using kaplan lecture notes, and videos, after the second reading of kaplan, i will read the respective part on FA, and afterwards annotate. After this, FA serves as my main source. I plan to do doctors in training also.

there is nothing new in DIT except yu will know sum high yield topics of F.A and second yu will do all subjects together in a short time, but they have given a study guide wd it,which helps in active learning, just like flash cards ,doing a topic den answerin a quiz...
but DIT is a good way to boost lazy ppl,i think it worth only if yu get it free from google, otherwise it is a waist of 700$$.
i ve downloaded it free ...

You can purchase a first aid kit at drugstores or a local Red Cross office, or make one of your own. A first aid kit is a collection of supplies and equipment for use in giving first aid and can put together for the purpose. Store first aid kits in places that are out of children's reach but easily accessible for adults. Thanks a lot.
