Unhappy depressed with behavioural science

Hi all,

I started preparing for the USMLE step 1 two months ago. i completed behavioural science kaplan lecture/book. But as soon as i started with the Qbank ,i got really depressed. I am only getting an avg score of 52%. I tried answering 200 question , but my score aren't going up. I am struck with 2 answer choices, that are very hard to pick one. Kindly advice me on how to tackle this section. Also, I am spending more time reading the question, i am not able to understand it very well. If i am allowed to pick two answers than i can raise my score to 80%. What can i do now..

please advice..

Thanks in advance

Thumbs Up Don't Worry

Hey Sam,
I face the exactly the same problem, I did High Yield brain and behavior, and after finishing, I got so depressed when I started to do Kaplan qbook, I barely passed 50%, which made me read entire Kaplan BSc. lecture notes!!! It is so good... and all you need is PRACTICE, do as much questions as you can and am sure you will do great.

Good luck

Dontworry. Its normal. U jus started off. Keep doing questions. Taking it as ur learning tool. Not to assess urself. Leave that for nbmes. Focus and keep doing it. Ur acores will keep fluctuationg. But tje deal is. Eventually n gradually. It shud increase. That shows ur learning n improving. Dont let low scores let u down. Goodluck!
