Star Is taking the USMLE STEP 1 in the SUMMER as an IMG Career suicide????

I heard that the American Medical Graduates take the USMLE in the Summer.. and if you take it with them then you're going to score a lot lower since their average is usually higher than IMGs.

If I was planning on taking the exam at the end of May or Mid-June, Would that be committing Career Suicide by possibly scoring much lower within the summer time frame?

Anyone know How exactly this test is even scored? thanks

Not at all, do some research and you'll find out it makes no difference, the exams are standarized for a reason.
