Question Cellular adaptive changes

A heavy smoker was found to have a stratified squamous epithelium in his bronchi.
This pathology can be attributed to which of the following?

A- Physiologic hyperplasia
B- Pathologic hyperplasia
C- Metaplasia
D- Dysplasia
E- Hypertrophy

I think its Metaplasia ... Which defines transformation of one cell type to another .... Due to smoking glandular epithelium of bronchi transform into more protective squamous epithelium .......
