Stats The effect of removing one result on the Mean Mode and Median

hello i was doing a sample question asking what will happen to the mean median and mode when removing the result of 1 person...?

i guess it depends on from were you removed the result
from above the mean median mode
or below them
any info regarding that?

If I'm not mistaken there wasnt a mean in the qs but the qs was to remove the last person with the biggest result

then it is easy only mean will decrease
the mode and median will stay the same

The median should also decrease if you remove the biggest score from the group.

Example
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 here the median is 5
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 here the median is 4.5
