Star revision query. please help !!

i'm an img and i've been preparing for step 1 on and off for the past 6 months. i have completed my first read of kaplan along with videos. I have only 3-4 months left to take my exam. i dont remember much from my first read. A friend of mine has advised me to shift to FA and UW combo and just go with it cold over and over again. my aim is of 240+. can you please suggest me if i should go ahead with it or go for second read of kaplan since it has been such a long time that i hardly remember anything as of now. please help me ! your advice would be gold to me !! thank you

im kind of in a similar scenario except i have done fa and doing my 2nd read now. did u make any notes in fa? if not u wud have to refer to kaplan books again because what u took down as notes from videos and stuff is still there and first read is just a formality... its in the subsequent read where u find urself remembering things. also subscribe to u world and do that as u move forward for eg, 45 ques a day along with review from fa/kaplan. doing fa alone is very aimless

hey thanks for your reply. yes i did put some things into first aid from kaplan specially for biochem cz i felt fa was way too defficient in that (just my personal opinion). i read pathoma and transferred the missing points from fa to it and some teeny tiny bits of micro and pharma. i didnt go overboard thinking uworld would be needing much of that space. how are you going about with uworld ? system wise or subject wise ? please share any tips that you think might be helpful. thanks much
