Default Are Kaplan lecture notes alone enough?

Hi everyone

I'm an IMG and I just started to study for USMLE step 1 beside being a house officer.

I'm going to buy Kaplan Lecture notes and question book and I already got first aid , and will subscribe to U world later as I can only afford the one month subscription, so will subscribe 6 weeks before the exam when I get an appointment.

My question is , is that enough ?
I feel like I forgot all about physiology, microbiology ...etc as I last studied that subjects 4-5 years ago , so I really need good review books as they will be all what I know in preclinical subjects. I heard that , for example , Goljan RR is a must and Kaplan isn't enough at all , BRS physiology is much better than Kaplan , Kaplan not enough for neuroanatomy ... etc. So should I buy other books next to /instead of Kaplan? Are Kaplan books not that good? They are very popular in my home country among Step 1 and 2 takers. I have all the time to study and I am not in a hurry, and I will really appreciate your recommendation.
Thank you in advance

Cool

Kaplan is pretty good. BRS physiology is easier to read (my POV)
Goljan is too much and pathoma suffices. It's neat and does the job in app 300 pages (instead of the 730 goljan pages), just listen to goljan audio along with pathoma and you should be fine.

The most ESSENTIAL part to your prep is UWORLD!!! and I can assure you that one month is NOT enough by any chance, you will have to get around the financial problem and work a way out for at least a 2 months subscription. AND keep it in your mind, UWORLD IS WHAT GETS YOU YOUR SCORE.

Thanks , the financial thing is not that big , I'm just trying to spend as little as possible. If it's that important to go through uworld multiple times then I'll get 2 or 3 months subscription then. Thanks for your advice
