An arterial blood gas is drawn on a patient who has just undergone bilateral carotid endarterectomies. Compared to a pre-operative measurement, this arterial blood gas will likely show:
  • A. Same PaO2 and PaCO2
  • B. Increased PaCO2
  • C. Decreasd PaCO2
  • D. Increased PaO2
  • E. Decreased PaO2
