Default Difficult questions

Hi
I have 2 questions:
1- In divers what mixture of gases are used and what problems do overdoses of Helium or Nitrogen cause?
2- In long bone (post-natal growth), what type of ossification is responsible for increase in LONG BONE WIDTH i.e. lateral apposition of bone? Is it intramembranous ossification since endochondral increases bone LENGTH?
Thank you

Do you have a reference showing it's intramembranous?
